A 5 day course, with assessment on last day of the course, covering:
- compression refrigeration plant;
- legislative & management requirements within engineering operations;
- on-board maintenance systems;
- safe systems of work in an engineering environment;
- lifting/slinging operations;
- electrical distribution systems;
- basic hydraulic systems;
- undertaking basic maintenance;
- fresh water systems;
- sewage systems;

Note: Fault finding and rectification will be covered within each part of the syllabus as the individual topics are covered.

Pre-requisites – Candidates must be 18 years of age or over, and have previously completed the MCA AEC 1 course.
